There are thousands of female veterans in this country that were or still are a very large part of the fight for our freedom in this country. We would like to say “Thank you for your service” to all of them.
If you are a female veteran, or you are still in the military please join us so that we can say thank you. You can also join our forum.

The Veterans Day program will be changed to Nov. 4th, 2017 due to a conflict with Seafood Festival on the 11th of Nov. I need to hear from those that will be helping out by Aug 5th.
Thanks for your help…
“With our vision of getting female veterans recognized and involved I have been asked to provide a female veteran, in uniform, to participate at veteran day ceremonies Nov 4, 2017 at old homosassa veteran memorial.
What I need right now is
1. Names of those wanting to participate. Rank, branch, years, etc
2. Complete contact info. Even if you’ve given it before.
This is all that is needed at this time. It seems like November is a long ways off, but not really.
Though I want to be involved as much as possible I did take a bad fall, been in hospital and rehab, now at home continuing to try and get the use of both arms/fingers thanks to CMH doing damage via 2 bad pic lines in each arm.
Regular healing of fall hurting all of left side from head to ankle will just take time…..and work. I’ll take those prayers I so often ask for others too!

Beatty graduated, first female cannoneer in the Army, March 11, 2016, at Fort Sill, Okla. She excelled during training – earning the title of distinguished honor graduate for Class No. 12-16. She was assistant platoon guide and helped teach her peers, earned the top scores in several exams and passed her Go/No go events, including the high physical demand test. Beatty had the advantage of being a power lifter with her Army infantryman husband, Charles, before enlisting.
